JConcepts Friday Updates - Tekno Body | S2 TLR 22X-4 Body | P2 TLR 22 5.0 Body | Monte Carlo | B74
Check out what is new from JConcepts this week...
The S15 blends performance features from the popular Silencer body with new features such as mid-body winglets and rear stabilizer kick-up. The roof of the body remains strong with the upper fin in position for stability and tracking ability. The area behind the cab remains clean with a deep-rooted position allowing exposure to air and escape. The front and rear body mount area is cleanly designed and allows for a drop-fit on the Tekno EB48 2.0.

What is the response when a popular new vehicle hits the market? It’s simple; add one of the most popular and best performing bodies to date to an already successful platform. Dubbed the S2, the new shell rocks some familiar features but rolled together with a low-profile stance. With 2015 IFMAR Championship credibility backing this design, it’s an easy choice. The S2 is a performer straight out of the package, includes the S-type rear wing to help deliver results on any racing circuit.

The P2 body by JConcepts for the TLR 22 5.0 Elite vehicle is the meanest, nastiest thing out for 1/10th buggy racing. Throw everything you know out the window, the Punisher 2 separates itself from the rest of the bodies on the market with its distinctive styling. The S2 and F2 body designs have created their own path of success on dirt, carpet, and Astroturf with class leading success, now, the P2, will carve its own. http://blog.jconcepts.net/2020/06/jco...
The American produced, sinister, wedged shaped vehicle is now released to the RC enthusiast to fit the latest Street Stock converted vehicles on the market. The crew in the JConcepts R&D department tackled one of its finest projects to date and together with Chevrolet licensing has produced the iconic Monte Carlo. The body shell construction is a shape fit for the RC scene. The vehicles which are wide-bodied, flat paneled and have a low-roof line always track well down the racetrack.

Durability in the chassis assembly is crucial to a proper handling vehicle. The JConcepts aluminum motor mount and diff mount assembly are machined in high-grade aluminum and anodized blue for top-notch looks. This option part aligns and drops under the center diff / slipper and attaches to the chassis using the stock hardware. The mount attaches to the motor with the stock hardware and stays with the motor during installation and routine in and out procedures. Once the motor is slid into the diff mount, the rigid assembly and light-weight construction of the mount is a perfect complement to the B74. Top off the center diff / slipper section with the center bulkhead top-plate #2531 (not included) for a robust assembly.
