ROAR NATIONAL EVENT STATUS UPDATE

ROAR has been closely monitoring the development of Covid-19 and its impact on sports and public gatherings as well as travel. We have consulted with the tracks scheduled to host the upcoming Fuel and Electric 8th Scale Offroad events as well as with several major teams. We have taken into account the conditions currently expected at each venue as well as the general situation with the travel and hospitality industry.

Following these evaluations, we have decided to postpone the 2020 Fuel Offroad National scheduled for LCRC and the 2020 Offroad Electric 8th Scale National scheduled for Flowood R/C Indoor Park. Based on projected improvements in the local and national conditions, the 2020 Offroad Electric 8th Scale National at Flowood will be rescheduled for Sepetember 23-27, 2020. The situation in Pennsylvania in the areas around LCRC does not allow for reliably predicting a possible future date at this time. ROAR will continue to monitor that situation together with LCRC.

Because of the uncertainty surrounding the 2020 Fuel Offroad Nationals, all entry fees already paid will be refunded to the PayPal account used to originally make payment. No action is required on the part of those who have entered. Please allow us reasonable time to process these refunds. If we are able to reschedule the event, we will reopen registration at a future date.

These are unprecedented times as the world adapts to the challenges presented by this pandemic. We are all anxious to return to racing and some degree of normalcy while acknowledging the serious health risks presented by this disease. Conditions in terms of local and national restrictions are evolving quickly which makes predicting the future situation very challenging. ROAR is monitoring these changes and evaluating the status of the remaining National events. ROAR will hold National events when we are able to comply with all local and national guidelines, provide a safe environment for participants and meet our standards for National events.

Stay Safe.
